What size rim/tire do I need for a 65. I'm moving this truck but it doesn't have any wheels on it so I want to come with the right stuff. Thanks Ronnie.
Most of the '83 F-100s used the smaller car pattern (5 on 4.5), and was the last year of production of the F-100.
Yep need to watch out on some of the '80-'83 F100's as they could be had with either 5 on 4.5" or 5on5.5" bolt patterns
5x5.5 is the Model A bolt pattern. It goes way back. Most Ford Pre 48 steel wheels will fit a 65. Older Chrysler and Willys Jeep CJs maybe even early Wranglers used 5x5.5. Some of the Dodge wheels may have clearance issues but are fine for a roller. Ford truck wheels are easy to find
