Story goes like this... Dad has had a 64 long bed step since I was 2 years old. He's in the assembly stages of a frame off full resto as we speak. I've always had an eye for the 60-66 step sides and wanted my own for the past few years. This summer I got real serious and took a 1 way flight to Georgia to drive home my very own classic. Turns out a few good people still do exist on Craigslist and I found one. Guy must have sent me 50-60 detailed picture messages to go along with phone calls and texts to cover all my bases. I swapped cash for a bill of sale and drove my dream truck home to Chicago that same day. She needs new floors and maybe a rocker... But as you'll notice "salt" has never been in her vocabulary and never will. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as the project goes on. Glad I found this forum of like minded individuals.
