Apologies to Pontiac guys. The motivation for the chevy motor was fuel injection

Yep, Brutus in its early stages with the Tempest grille with the G-T-O letters on it. With that said when they got tired of bent push rods on the M/T Hemi Pontiac the car got a Chrysler so its no worse than that. The cars too cool to bag on but a Pontiac would be more fitting, that or build a Chevelle just like it for the BBC and change this one back.

Yeah I feel ya on being correct, but pontiac stuff like "Mr. Unswitchable" fuel injection or the Jess tyree setup is a fairly rare and exotic piece. Plus if that stuff were to come up it would be easy to change over the motor and trans. In addition they were no stranger to experimenting with multi-make combinations, such as the hybrid Mickey thompson hemi heads in Brutus. But I am totally with you. and while I am searching this stuff out the car will be running. Sometimes comprimises have to be made in order to move forward. Plus ya gotta admit as cool as your dual quad pontiac looks nothing is as cool as a fuckin hilborn setup sticking out of the hood.

Looks Killer. Great start. Maybe something like this would be perfect. Speedway sells a set for a couple hundred but you would have to slice & dice them to make them fit perfect.

Killer looking car. I wanted a '65 Tempest or Lemans to cut up but prices for those cars are going up.
