Projects '67 Series2A Land Rover/Chevy: airfilter adaptor

Any ideas on how to adapt a Series2A Land Rover air cleaner to an edelbrock carb. I can't find any ready made air filter adaptors.

Land Rovers are a bit off topic here....

and hardly any of us know what the air cleaner looks like. Maybe you'd get some help if you posted a few pictures of the air cleaner? or posed the question a different way? or find a land cruiser forum?
