68 327 engine

The "010" block is a large journal block.... And no provision for a draft tube...
I've never seen one....

 

68 blocks will be large journal and have the casting areas for the draft tube and baffle, just not machined like the picture shows. If the draft tube/baffle area is machined for them to be used then 98% chance it’s a small journal.

 

I always thought if they had the road draft casting, they were small journal. Learn something new everyday here on the HAMB.
