I've found an Erson Cam for sale and would like to identify it.
    Erson 290 B6 41S
Possibly for my 71 Fiat 850. CCW 903cc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    +Paul

I found some other similar postings here about Erson Cams, and felt that somebody would have a 60s Hot Cam catalog. The car isn't American, but the cam sure is. : )

Did you bother to read the rules for the HAMB.???.....located at the top of the Introduce yourself here page

  6. Actually I don't think that it became Erson cams until after Sig died, it was Sig Erson cams prior to that.

@PBeeMax it is not the choice of cam shaft that is wrong for the site. it is the choice of automobile, era of automobile to be exact. We play pre '65 and American for the most part. A few Euro bodies and some Aussies find their way onto the board but they are normally dragsters with lots of beef.

  11. Nope it was just a bad lay.
It falls under "I'm tired and I'm sore, I won't do it for 10 cents no more. 15 cents is my new price and for 25 cents I'll do it twice." IT being the operative word here. :D

The problem with chatting cam shafts with @falcongeorge is that he has some idea what is going on and he is not apt to dumb it down for anyone. He is an idealist and expect everyone to try and keep up, try being the operative word here.

Thanks for the feedback. Without the specs I'll p*** on the sale, and send mine out for a re-fresh.

@porkn****** There's been a lot of other discussion about Flat Tappet cams, but I can't find much on plunge EDMing them. I'll probably go this route....Should it be done before or after re-surfacing them?
