I will be there this year also! Hopefully we will get so relief from the heat.

 

Hey - It would be rad to have people post pictures of what they are driving to the KoC show.

When you get there, talk to the guys in the tower (aka small house) they will give you a waiver to sign.

What time will they close down the track?
Last year they shut us down around 3:00 I wasn't done yet!!

Maybe Friday night we can all hold glands and sing kumbaya while praying that Miguels BBQ doesn't set the hills or tortilla on fire.

faaaaaaaaaaaaa.. grenaded the charging system on my car last nite. Hopefully I can get the parts I need in time or it will be another year from the side lines.

Ha I don't know about that you got some great shots yourself. Hopefully I'll be doing a bit of both I still have one more roll of film from last year I never developed. Hopefully I can drop it off at georges when I'm down in a couple weeks for this event.

 

We are sweetening up the deal for vendors, a 10x10 comes with 4 wristbands and is 80 dlls, and a 10x20 is 140 dlls and comes with 6 wristbands, get some of your friends to chip in, this is a perfect oportunity for your chick to get rid of her rocabilly apparel and acessories she is no longer using, or maybe some of you guys have some car parts you want to get rid of, hey it will help pay for the trip. call me at 619-5732637.

 

1 More week.. Defiantly cutting things down to the wire for me.. Going to finish installing the nitrous kit this weekend and hopefully get the parts I need to fix the alternator before I leave for San Diego on Thursday.

 

The race program usally go's like this, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is heads up drags, that means everbody can race , including guys that are'nt in a club, or bike club. 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. is the king of clubs race, you have to be in a club to participate, there are 4 race classes, flathead, king of clubs class, which has to be a registered car that was not trailered, and has to be natuarally asperated ( no huffers, injectors , n.o.s.) this is a steet class, and full race ( el mas chingon ) and the bike class, bike must be pre-evo. cars must be pre-65 to compete in the king of clubs race.

 

I can't wait!
This is one of my favorite events all year.
I will be there with my new Carter 2x2 set-up, to see if it can go any faster than last year.
We need more events like this one!

Well I just came back from the shifter's show in Pomona, had a great time, I was sorry I coud'ent split myself in half and go to the Stray's show in San Diego. Things are are looking good for the show this year, more clubs than ever will be participating, Here is a partial list of some of the clubs that are coming; The Aces, the Barrons, the Turks, The shifters, the Cavaliers, the gearheads, the Strays, the Bolevardos, the Bean Bandits,the Roaddevils,the Conquistadors, the Crown Knockers,the Maruaders,the Beatnicks,the Illegales,the Emperors,the Spares,the Cat Killers,the Rattlers,the Viejitos,the Prowlers,the Hell on Wheels crew,If I missed anybody thats comming, please get your name up here. I talked to Bad Bob yesterday, and he is kicking around coming out this year, Hopefuly he will delight us with the bitch'en pictures he takes.

 

for bob to attend there must be women in short skirts,or hot pants...miguel whos organising that part?

 

Somebody please post some pictures of chicks from last year's show, Justin B forgot to take chick pictures, San Diego has a reputation for having the best looking women in the country, so let's entice bob with some pictures. By the way , if some body needs to trailer his street car to the show because he is bringing out his motorhome , that's fine, just don't enter a full on race car in the street class.

this year i should be able to get some good pictures. i don't think i'll race this year, the 35 truck would need to be timed with a sundial, so i should be able to screw around instead.
