Was wondering if its a feasible feat to run a 6x2 set up on a street driven Cadillac 390? Or would I be better off running 2 on each log and "fake it".

If your carbs have good shaft to base seals or are ***e you should have no trouble running on the 2 centers and having the other 4 closed off or idling. Hopefully there are two hoses connecting the sides. I like idling on all carbs as some, even tho minor, gasoline is being used to keep them from sticking on any system but some don’t. Get a UniSyn for setting them up. Good luck.

You can run 2 carbs and block the front and rear 2 if the manifold allows it. If any of the ports are closed off from the middle carbs, you will have to run all 6. I know usually Offenhauser intakes are open. We have ran just 2 on a couple 6x2 set ups. We also run 2GC carbs over a 94 or 97 and even on just 2 carbs, everything has ran really well.
