It's Sunday and what is Sunday with some models so I will start this one off with mt 37 that I am working on and There is a vid too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ged0Lu-_32U&feature=g-all-c Now let see what every one is working on....
Nice work! I'm also building an entry for the model car subgroup. It's a show rod with the Roth Beatnik Bandit engine and chassis with a custom body modified from the Club de Mer ('50s GM experimental car). I've got the frame painted and am in the process of filing/fitting/filling/glueing the rear axle and engine. At this pace I'm sure glad the deadline isn't until Oct. 1.
Cool and I too am glad about the deadline being that I drive a truck over the road I don't get as much time to work on my model like I wish I could
No good talkin' bout it mate Pictures is what we wanna see on MODEL CAR SUNDAY Bump for the other shift Cheers Rod
Even though this turned out to not be the main thread, here's a photo but there's not much to it yet. The Beatnik Bandit frame is painted with Model Master 2902 Arctic Blue metallic. I really like the detail on the multi-piece engine (3 pieces for the block plus the two heads, valley cover, scattershield, etc.). But those pieces mean that there are seams where there shouldn't be any so I'm doing a lot of filing, sanding and filling to hide them. That's what the gray paint on the engine and rear axle are indicating.
