One of my headlights on my 37 pickup is starting to flicker. I've checked the switch and wire and see no issues. Have no idea how old they are so thought I would buy a new pair. With the info I see on the light I can't seem to find the same number doing a search. Need a little help guys. Thanks. all 7" sealed beams should be the same, assuming they are 12v. the number on those that is partially worn off is 6012. you should be able to walk into any auto parts store and buy them. Or if you have to order online, here https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wag-h6024?rrec=true
>> "One of my headlights on my 37 pickup is starting to flicker. " I suspect the flicker comes from the wiring or ground. If the sealed beam filament was flickering, the heat would have burned the filament into an open circuit.
You might have to hunt a bit to find a GE 6012 headlight and might have to pay a premium. You can get Sylvania 6012 and maybe some other brands (plain 12 V light and not Halogen) at most any parts house. I've got to agree with TrailerTrashToo in that you want to check your wiring and grounds first. Flickering headlights is usually due to a loose connection somewhere.
