70's 80's Steet Racing Pictures (DeFeo where are you?)

Y'know, that was always my favorite. I wrote it in one shot, in about four hours...and was really proud of it. I handed it in with my byline, but when it came back from the printer for our approval, my name was gone. MAN was I pissed! The editor wanted it to look like a staff thing. So, what I did was gather up the parts I had edited out for length, and snuck them in as a sidebar with my name on it.
Yeah, seriously, if I had to pick one story that I wanted to be remembered by, I think that would have been it.

 

I'm thinking earlier than that...probably late 85.
