The Cammer powered roadster belonged to Tim Young from Kenosha Wisconsin, not sure if the car still exists.
It was discussed in a previous thread here on the HAMB.

I went to the first Nationals in 1970 in Peoria. I was from SoCal and stationed at Chanute AFB, some 90 miles away. Me and another aircraft instructor that loved hot rods too, spent Saturday at the host hotel and the farmers field all the cars parked in . We both were overwhelmed by 600, count 'em, 600 hot rods all in one place! Nowadays regional events draw more then that. But in 1970, it was revolutionary! I had planned to drive my '42 Ford woodie to Memphis in 1971, but wasn't able to get leave that corresponded with the show. I have never been to another nationals again, but regularly the Western Nats, especially since it's only 75 miles away from me now!

This Roadster was driven to the 72 nationals, I don't have any other into on it. Would love to find an old photo of it though. IMG_6752.jpg IMG_6754.jpg
