The era of these fancy paint jobs was the era I was playing with real cars too. I don't know if it was just the area I lived in, or if I somehow missed them. I don't remember very many cars in our area with the fancy paint jobs, and I worked at one of the highest volume gas stations in out town, and spent nearly every Fri and Sat nights at our local cruising locations.
