    A friend of mine owns this Vega now. He's had it for at least 10 years. Looks exactly the same as pictured.

    That '66 Chevelle does it for me... Very unpractical but just plain cool.

    the rack and pinion and modern cowl hood don't exactly scream 70's street machine to me....

    That first Chevelle leaving the starting line doesn't look very 70s like either. Nothing left the line level in the 70s.
    The Chevelle's and 99% of the other 70s machines I remember leaving the starting line looked more like the on the in the second picture.

    wheel tubs, narrowed rear end and aluminum radiators don't exactly say 70's street machine to me....

    I musta lived in a different '70s. My buddy's '72 NA 355 non tubbed Chevelle definitely left wheels up to the tune of 11.teens and better.o_O. Granted, it was more strip oriented, but streetable none the less.:D
