At what ponts mph should 727 change gears. Mine appears to be changing to early in drive at 35 mph. How do I adjust to change later. Do I adjust the kickdown rod. Do I move the rod backwards or forwards in relationship to the transmission lever. loosen the half inch bolt then slide block in which direction. Right now at 60 mph it will drop into second at wide open throttle I like that and would even like it to drop down even at a higher speed Any suggestions? Thanks
Easiest way to explain it is to make the "kick down rod" longer giving the trans more throttle pressure creating later shift points. However , check your speedo...seems like its probably fast
