Happy to see this as we are traveling from MA to go....flying into LAX and renting a car and staying in Diamond Bar. Many of the things we wanted to do in addition to the show will of course not happen, so we have shortened our trip.

To be honest, I've been feeling "some sort of way" on going amidst all the devastation and canceling our trip, but, we are still going.

About 30 kiwis descending on the show. My good buddy Mark in TX is coming over with a couple of cars. Between him and my kiwi buddy Magoo they have a very full schedule for 10 days of shops and museums to visit. It will be EPIC as @hot-rod-1958 mark says. We fly out tomorrow.

  5. I have no idea how many of the previous winners will be there. I think that there were 47 of the 1st 50 at the 50th show. ??? No memory. :) If you have read about some of these cars your whole life, this could be the chance to see them in person. I know the travel is really expensive and LA is so large that it's difficult for many to navigate but it is a "once in a life time event". As I had said earlier, if I could have reserved a room at the host hotel, I would be there. It's my fault for failing to be proactive in travel plans. :)

Sorry for leaking that important information. You will find it easy to park here before heading to your event. Arrive early since the parking lot eventually runs out of spots.

All kiwis 30 are here after a very long flight and long connecting flight delays , took in moon eyes this afternoon and had a quick bite next door. Then went to a small local evening car show at I believe “garden town” but I am picking that’s not it’s name its one that they have chosen to adopt
