8 inch rearend

    :confused: I have pick this week-end an other part for my projet : a 8 inch rearend. 57 inch drum to drum width.:)
    I would like to know from that car it come from for rebuild parts buy (especialy drum who are very rusty). And the gear ratio to.:confused:
    Luckily It come with the factory identity plate still on one of the gear case bolt, may help :

    Most likely it is from a Mustang, Maverick, or Comet. In any case, if you look for parts for those cars, they should work.

    \Try a 1975-77 Ford Mavrick with a v8 (5 lug) Most came with a 2:70 rear gears... :D Sparky
