Projects 8BA Flathead Oil

Hey guys. So my 53 has been sitting for a while and I'm working on freshening up the flatty a little. Wondering what type of oil I should use. It's stock aside from the dual carb offy intake. Last time I changed the oil was about a year ago and I used 15w-40. Should I just use the same type?

 

Sounds like what I"ve heard.just make sure it has some zinc content.

Its a flathead!! It will run on weasel piss!! Actually I use 5-30 Castroll edge!! Pete
