Technical 8BA flathead sleeve source

Engine guys, I'm needing to source a sleeve for an 8BA that's at 3 5/16" +.030 or 3.342" as I can't source one locally. It will need a bit of custom work at the top for locating purposes in the block. I have all the necessary dimensions/drawing.

What's the best source Stateside for a custom sleeve for a flathead ?

Try H&H Flatheads in SoCal. I don't know if they can customize a sleeve but it's worth a try.

 

You may have to get your hands on the Mahle (Clevite) or Melling catalog and search by dimensions. Hopefully something close to what you need is available.



Melling Part Numbers CSL107, 207, and 508 all are 3.3125" bore, with various lengths and wall thicknesses. Jeg's has those 3 part numbers in stock for ~$32 each. Hopefully there is enough meat there that you can modify one for your needs.
