8BA oil capicity

The specs say 4 quarts, but I added a "fuller flow" filter system used by the Flathead racers in the area. Do I add the capacity of the filter and lines or what ?

I would say yes,also check your dipstick.

 

Yes. The original spec was intended to maintain a certain quan***y in the pan......so, if the add-ons retain some of that volume, it should be compensated by increasing the oil accordingly.
