Is it possible to install 8cm into a 34 pu without cutting off the first pulley on the crank using 8rt water pumps? It appears I will have to notch the firewall if the radiator and pumps are to align.
I installed 8RT water pumps on a '53 Merc engine a few years ago but changed the water pump pullies to the narrow sheave style to match the crank pully. The 8RT were wide belt style. While that solved that problem, great care must be taken to press off the pullies to prevent cracking them to pieces. I spilt a short piece of pipe/tubing lengthwise and placed it around the pump shaft up against the small inside diameter section of the pulley. Then set it up on a shop press for removal. Sounds more difficult than it actually is. What I can't tell you is if the setup you ask about fits into a '34 Ford....... Ray
