$9.00 a gasoline in the U.K?

Vote your gas tank! Get the non progress fools out. We have more fuel here than anywhere else. I also dont believe theres a finite amount. If that were the case we'd have been out long ago. 8.00 a gallon? WTF!!! I filled my burb yesterday and she swallowed a century note. At the euro rate I'da put 312.00 in there. I gotta get a better job.

 

could you image telling anyone here to take out their v8, and replacing it with an ecological bio fuel alternative? they would be all "hell naw, I wants to go fast, F*ck everybody else"
I dont see any discussions like that. there may be un tapped resources, that still doesnt mean they will last forever.

Over here, we don't *tell* anyone what they *have* to put in their rides.....not yet, at least. The day that an "alternative" engine is as readily and as cheaply available, along with a bountiful supply of parts, that allows me to get a cheaper, *again* readily available fuel, then I'll consider it.

If you're going to throw out derogatory statements like that, on a board full of people that *predominantly* run V8 engines, then why are you here?

Untapped resources are there to *be* tapped until there is a viable, affordable, widely available replacement that is introduced via the free market.

 

Because I have the right to be here, because I like the aesthetics of classic cars. Im not, NOT going to be here, just because I dont like everyone and they dont like me.

however I do agree, that nobody's doing anything to help the common driver. I dont believe in running the world dry.

As to hot rodding, one day people are going to have to stop, with the steel bodies and the v8 petrol engines, and look at new ways of doing things, light hot rods built out of light materials like fiberglass and aluminium with electric batteries or something.

the aesthetics of the cars dont have to change, but the mentality does.
