We are thinking of him. If it is any comfort, my Dad had a quad bypass in 1978 and he is still going strong today. He'll be 90 in March!
SHIT MAN, gues it just goes to show how fragile we all are, I think I am going to start having my body checked for all the things that are not supposed to hit you until you are older. I'd have never thought Greg would be headed down that path this soon. Hell, he was standing in my front yard not a month ago. Healthy as a somoan
I was at a get together in the backyard, and my friend Mike was at the BBQ flipping burgers. He just got done telling some joke, turned to go back to the grill and fell right on his face (luckily in the lawn)! We all laughed, but one of the ladies there was a nurse and she jumped-up and rolled him over. He was dead. No pulse. She started CPR, and his wife blew in air, and he started to go pink again. He was 35 at the time, and had 4 bypasses. Still causing trouble and about 50 now. Still hooked on greasy burgers... (like me, ha) I've seen people die violently, but this was the first time I saw someone die and come back. It was an awesome good feeling, and I hope your hubby recovers fast!
Hey there bro , take care and you will be up and getting your hands dirty in no time at all . know that you will have a speedy recovery and you are in good hands with your loved ones . Stay strong and keep the faith my prayees are with you . Buzz Bomb
Get Well Soon, Wishing you a speed recovery... Setting a record in the number of bypasses is not a way to get into the record books...
Wow. I hope you are feeling better soon Greg! If you guys need anything let me know. (If you can, print this out and bring it in to him!)
Get well soon! See if you can get the docs to put a supercharger on your engine Mike PS pinch a nurse's behind for me (oh wait that would be your wife...)
PM me an address, I also have something to send. Hope for a speedy recovery, my prayers are with you.
Thoughts and prayers going out for you and also for your wife. We sometimes forget that the ones who keep the home running are in need of prayers also. My wife was "in charge" for 3 1/2 years when I was in for my head injury and if it weren't for prayer she would have been in deep dispair for a lot of that time. The Lord can and does perform miracles, we'll ask for one for you. Frank
My buddy had an attack at 47 a couple of years ago, and now he runs several miles a day, and is insanely crazy about what he eats...but having one that young, it was easier to recover.... It was a blind-side deal as well, on a cruise ship no less! Best wishes...Get well soon!
