I've got a 1930 Tudor, 65 1/4" hub to hub width 9" ford diff, and a problem. I want to run an 8" steel wheel on the rear. I have the body channelled pretty hard and the body is 55" wide where the tires will be.. With a 10" tire section width, I figure I need a 2" backspacing on an 8" wheel to allow enough room for tire distortion and body roll.. Who makes an 8" steelie (15" diameter ) with a 2" backspace???? I can't find anyone.. Or, how about a 2" spacer so that I can use a 4" backspacing? I don't normally like spacers, but maybe they are better than they used to be..It isn't a high horsepower car , maybe 325 HP...
    Help!
