i got about 2 1/2 with my front springs swap . the springs are also softer , so if a rear spring is weak it will make it show worse . mine sat real bad after the swap . the blocks may not work easily . on my 55 there is a oblong line up block instead of a normal round headed bolt . so some modifications may be needed to make them work .

Eric (Missysdad) told me that installing blocks that are not the proper width for the spring is a BAD idea. Night Prowlers does sell the 2 inch wide blocks although they are more expensive (around $60).

I put Areostar springs on my 53 fordor about 4 months ago. I can't remember whether I have 2 or three inch blocks on the rear. I've had my 53 for 34 years and in 1986 I cut 2 coils from the front and added the blocks on the rear. By putting on the areostar springs it raised the front about 1 inch and made it steer 100% better. It now rides almost as good as my 2003 Impala. I have 6and 1/2 inchs ground clearance at the rocker in front and 6 inchs at the rear.

Yep. Did mine in the '53 this spring and it dropped mine about 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 inches.
