  7. You know, when I was a kid, I hated the straight axle cars. Now I think gassers are so hot looking. I must have matured.

Take a look at my site, I have an album of older pics, not a whole lot yet. I will probably steal some of yours though. Mutual theft is ok, right? http://classicdragsters.com

My obsession started when I was about 11 or 12, when I first saw the movie 'Hot Rod', I've been in love ever since....

Very NICE!!! Do you have any connection to Washington state? You talked about the willy's you helped build, going to Spokane, and that '53 Chev (pic # 54 in the gassers) looks like it is from this years Hot Rod Arama...in Seattle, Just wondering...Ken

    Thanks!
HAMBer 'jrblack30' has the connection to the 41 that went to Spokane, not me. I have no connections to Washington state, although the bitchin' 53 you speak of may be from the area, I have gathered photos from all across the world for my collection.

I have updated all 3 albums this evening, hundreds of new pics, the Willys album alone has nearly 1100 photos! Enjoy!

Keep the pics and info coming! I must say, I have met some very rad HAMBers already via private messages and e-mails, and that is what this all about for me, sharing my love for these cars with others!!

I'm not sure. but I didn't see a picture of the Red Baron built by the Hill Bros. A buddy of mine, Ken Kull, has it fully restored along with the Red Baron 2, a pick up, that he built. If you would like I can get some pictures of them.

  24. Here is some serious willys overload. This is a guys front yard, He lives outside Buffalo, New York. He hosted this for five years straight. I went there for three years until I got tired of all the WILLY'S, ANGLIA'S , HENRY J'S, etc. As we left everyone would take turns, warming up the tire GASSER style in his 1/8 mile paved driveway.:D

This is part of the prelude to the Niagara race held every summer at Lancaster speedway outside Buffalo. They hold the race in honor of the old Niagare race track in Niagar Falls, New York.

Dont mind you using my shots (seen a few on there) as long as you are not making any money off them.

The albums where down most of the day yesterday, I don't know why  , but they are back up today.

I'm still interested in any other Willys or gasser pics anybody is willing to share....
