!951 chevy deluxe

i have a 51 chevy deluxe and i was wondering if anybody could tell which cars i can strip down at the pick a parts for my chevy. any addvice would be great. Thanx

 

What are you looking for?You probably aren't going to get many 51 chevy's in pick apart.You could take parts off any car that was in there if it is something you need.

 

If you want an open drive, a 70-81 Camaro rearend is just about a bolt-in. If a Jag XJ6 sedan turns up, the front suspension out of one of those could go in with a little fab work.

Other than wheels, there's not much you can use from the later stuff without buying mounts and parts or doing fabrication. They make lots of conversion mounts to put later Chevy sixes or small blocks in the 49-54 Chevy cars, though.

 

I would say 49-54 Chevy cars would fit the best

 

For 51 original parts, most stuff off the 49-52, will interchange!!
And as spellman91 said some parts of the 53-54 will work also!!

Course I guess, if you are will to work at it, you could probadly could make just about any model part fit, with enough mods!!
