    I could never hold on to merc dashes that long. what we use to do was wrap them and box em up with the Styrofoam peanuts so no damage put them on the big shelves until we needed them.

    I can see that storage is an issue. Those big clunky car show trophies are also hard to store, and even more difficult to keep dusted.

    Storing them in Mercurys would be a good idea.

    If I had any merc dashes I would store them in a car, and admire them while I drive it. Your way is cool too, interested in only having 2 instead of 3?
