   Im about to fire up my flathead for the first time. Im running a fenton 2x2 intake with 97's on it. There both rebuilt carbs, but was wondering if anyone had good suggestions for where to start the settings for the intial firing. Air screws, jets etc?

   Turn the screws all the way in, then back out 1 3/4 turns.
   That should get it started. Fine tune later after warm up.
