Believe that's hotrodjosh - right here on the board. Suppose you could send him a PM.

I'm still waiting on his parts and price sheets he promised me close to a year ago. I politely asked him more than once. Not reliable in my book.

Thats the only negative i've heard about him, always been good reports so far.
Carbs & parts from other sources can take up to year, but lets not get into that! we,ve seen that a dozen times before.

Ya know, Emails aren't foolproof; maybe he didn't get it. If you call someone on the phone & nobody answers don't you try again later? That's why most companies have a web site, a phone #, and an address I'll bet. HAMBers also have the advantage of posting on here or PMing him.

After I posted bad about him above I felt guilty so I emailed him asking again for some info. No response yet since I sent it last week. Maybe I need to email again? And he's supposed to be running a business? OK, I'll try.

It is the holidays ya know... Jeez. If I request something, and don't get it, I call back until I do... I don't sit and fester. I'm sure you are not the only jackass he has to deal with.

It's the holidays? What kinda excuse is that? Gracie, you either still live in your Mom's basement or your wife brings home the bacon while you stay home and do the laundry. Anybody that works for a living knows that kinda excuse doesn't cut it. It's just plain stupid business to not respond to a potentail customer. That "Jackass" just might be the guy that puts food in your kids bellies. Or more importantly, tells his friends to either go to you or stay away.

I've never delt with Josh, and therefore don't know anything about his quality/service. But having been screwed by another guy in his same field who happens to live in Florida, I too would be a little leary of sending my 97's off to someone who won't even respond to a simple request for literature. I'm sure that after reading this post, Josh will see that a few potental customers have slipped thru the cracks and will make it right.

Chris50 got 2 done this year and they look great sitting on his entertainment center. If'n he weren't such a slacker, I'd be telling ya they work great. Josh has been around here a while and I've never heard a bad word about his work. He has a day job, 97 Heaven is his side gig. He has a real life like most of us.

Maybe he just didn't want to deal with you.

alchemy sent me an email on Friday. I responded on Monday. I think that is pretty good time.

I'm sorry if I have missed a few emails in the past, if I don't respond to the first, please send another. I have had many emails get lost in the past. I try my best to make everyone happy, including a HAMB discount.

Take care, sorry for the spam...

Please email or PM with any questions as I dont get a chance to get on here everyday....

Gracie is a 38 year old woman that earns her own living and doesn't depend on anyone much less a weenie like you to take care of her. She has no kids (hate the little buggers). You have not ever started up your own business out of your garage or you would understand. Hell, you've prolly never even worked retail. I, my friend, have what my momma TAUGHT me, which is patience. I guess your momma didn't have time (between all those sailors) to teach you about patience. I also have what my daddy taught me, perseverance, to keep after something till I get it (sort of like your daddy and those dirty ol barflies). And I believe you all knew all along that HotRodJosh was a hamber, so this whole post was for his benefit. What a silly game. Yawn.

    Thanks Alchemy... I try.

I just think that people should just say what they mean. If you have a problem with someone, say it, don't beat around the bush asking if others have had a problem, and don't bring it to a public forum until you have taken all avenues possible first. If Josh had stolen money or parts, that's one thing... but just slow communication? Bah.

My hat is off to Josh for starting up his own business. It does take quite a bit to do something like that and do it well. My point was that if you’re gonna spend the money to advertise in magazines, you should be ready to respond to customers inquiries or you might get a negative reputation. It does sound like Josh is trying to get to everyone though. I plan to give him a call (or two if needed) when I need my next set of 97’s rebuilt.

Now Gracie, lets settle down. I throw a little shit your way after you call my bro Alchemy a Jackass and you get all bent outta shape and start talking crap about parents. (It was kinda funny though). You can dish it out but can’t take it? Considering how you have a potty mouth, hate kids, and enjoy talking to us greasy weenies via the internet, it’s easy to see why you’re an unmarried 38 year old female. I hate to even speculate what you do in Las Vegas to earn a living. And yes, I’ve worked my share of retail behind the counter of a couple of auto parts stores dealing with all types of jackasses. Some of those jackasses were even women.

Now, can’t we put this behind us and all just be friends?

P.S. Your F.U. comment was really witty. I think I stopped telling people that in high school.

I get really annoyed at folks with no patience. I get annoyed at folks who try to sway others to their side. Basically I hate politics. But I can take it as good as I dish it... your dish wasn't as funny as mine though. It was just mean. But that's ok. Whatever. Some have the gift - some don't. I'd like to say I was PMSing, but I wasn't... just cranky. I also prolly took it out on you because the hamb isn't as fun as it used to be either. I grew up on a street in Alabama of all boys, so I tend to spew filth like the guys... but I can be girlie too, if the need arises (hahaha).

Gracie's quite 'man' enough to handle herself so she doesn't need me to speak for her. But I guess I will anyway.
