Has anyone out there used 98-02 trans am or camaro front and rear suspensions in a cl***ic chevy truck? I can buy a 98 trans am complete (with light front body damage) cheap and was wondering if I could make the front and rear suspensions fit in my 46 chevy truck?

They are unibody cars. The rear suspension is a good design. Even better when upgraded w/good stuff. S**** the front junk.

The 67-81 Camaro/Firebirds have a removeable front subframe; which is why so many Hot Rods and Customs use them. 82-02's are a true unibody design, and therefore not good donors. The suspensions are a good design on their own though; and can make for some fun DD action, especially equipped with the LT1/LS1 and T56.

And yeah they are a wide track design, especially considering the 93-02 have 0-offset wheels like a FWD car.
