Technical 9super7 fuel spual?

Hey just about to find some Stromberg 97s and ditch the 9super7s - running tri power now. My problem is fuel pressures at 1-2psi fuel bowls at 1/4 from top ! But sill weeps fuel out around accelerator pump on top of carb and runs down sides. This is the main carb other two are secondary’s no problems there. Any clues. This is my third new carb from speed way. I’ve tore it’s apart every time it’s seeping and fuel 1/4 inch down not full to top of bowl? What a pain in the ***. Thanks for any ideas.

 

Fuel level—-repeat fuel level—-not float level. Remove top of 97 style carb—crank and run engine with top removed.Fuel level —-repeat fuel level should be 1/2 from top of carb body+++- - - 1/16. Replace top of carb, see if that “fixes” your overflow problem—-fuel pressure at carb 2 psi or slightly less at 1-1/2. Notice if running less fuel pressure reduce leaks around top.Good luck!!
