Didn't get to stay long. Lotta good cars there and I didn't get to take pics of them all. Now it's time for me to take a little rest before I head out to the Hot Rod Cookout and from there I gotta go to the bar to do my karaoke/dj gig
...and here's some more..And Chad that 47 of yours is sweet! I tried looking for ya, but I didn't know what you looked like. Maybe i'll find ya at the Cookout after the show..
I ******ed my lovely bride to the Greaseball today, and we were impressed. The show was bigger than I anticipated, especially with the threat of rain, and space was getting tight. The vendors were cool, too. We had a tasty lunch at Putty Hill Station. We left the Greaseball and headed over to the Hot Rod Cookout, arriving a little early. Probably a good thing, since that gave Barbara first shot at sale table, where she picked up a new purse that had her squealing with delight. All in all, a pretty nice afternoon.
I was kinda in and out of there so i didn't get a chance to mingle with the HAMBers. I did say hello to Hotrodphotos (Spike) and met the Bifster. I noticed a few of ya, but didn't get a chance to meet or say hello (Action Girl, Scarry Larry, Fatabone, Coupedevil, and Joeyc59 who was DJ for the day,)
Thanks for posting these, and thanks so much for coming even if you DIDN'T come and say hi! (grrrrr) I think this was probably our biggest show ever, and everyone seemed to be having a blast. Thanks to everyone who came out and brought their awesome cars, and to all the lovely ladies that entered the pin-up contest. We're continually amazed that we manage to pull this thing off ever year and know we couldn't do it at all if you all didn't come out and support it. I'd like to also thank mother nature for not bringing rain, and for keep the temperatures tolerable for all our awesome guests and vendors. Stacey
KARB KINGS- THANKS FOR AN AWESOME SHOW!!! The Greastball was the best East Coast show so far this Fall season!!! So many cars and even more cats and kittens!!! This was my first Greaseball, showed up extremely late missed some fellow HAMBrs and the cookout, however....did get some cool pics off before my camera died!!! Roslyn's '41 Pickup DONT MISS THE 9 BAND CONCERT NEXT YEAR!!! The concert kicked *** and the Putty Hill Sports Bar & Grille offered a great atomosphere, great food and drink/****tail specials. We were all set to go right after the Hoedown then everyone cept me came down with a case of the "brokes", not the cars, their pockets.
No, thank YOU for an awesome show. Glad to hear everyone got home safe Chris, and it was great meeting you as well. That kit you wanted to know about was Centech. And Beautiful? That's proof that you definitely had too much to drink and should NOT have driven off that lot! hahaha I met a lot of new folks as well and saw lots of familiar faces. I was waay beyond hungover most of the day Saturday, so if I seemed a little off, I'm sticking to my story that Nappy made me drink too much Friday night, in fact I'm going to start blaming him for everything just to be safe. I meant to take pictures but only got two with JP McDermott later in the evening which I'll post later. And to start getting the word out now... Next year will be our 10 anniversary show, so start planning to come to that one now. We're going to make that the best show EVER. Stacey
i had a killer time!! i met some of you guys that i havent before. plus i saw some other friends down from new york and pennsylvania. got pretty loaded and stayed at the sleazy hotel(the one across the street from last years venue). didnt take one pic. i won a top 20 trophy, but i think the judges felt sory for me, if you know my car you know what i mean. i will be there next year. maybe w/ a new ride. either my bike or my other car. witchever gets finished first, maybe both you guys(karb kings) put on one of the best shows on the east coast. thanx again.
Nice picture of my car man. I made it out for the first time with my 37 chevy coupe and it was a hell of a show. i had a great time and saw lots of HAMBer cars and the bands were impressive also. definitely making it a point to attend again next year.
