So I'm heading to pick up a project on Sunday, sight unseen. Wondering what bolt pattern the A-100s have. Would they be the same as say a 98 Jeep? I have some extra wheels for that so thought I'd take them along if they're the same.
If you mean Dodge 5 X 4 1/2 is correct. Same as Ford, Toyota, Plymouth, and many old RWD cars and light trucks. Pre 1970 it will have bolts and the hubs will have alignment pins so your wheels will have to have an extra hole, take a drill and 5/16 drill bit if you are not sure. Also, left hand threads on the left side.
Rusty has a point - you can knock the pin off with a hammer.....the wheels will be mopar/Ford 5 lugs on a 4 1/2 bolt pattern....there might be left hand threads on the drivers side.....look for a L on the lug stud...
No pins on the A-100s, but left hand threads on the left side IF they have not been monkey'ed with over the past years. If the lugs are open end, look for the "L" on the stud. Sometimes the RF will have a left drum/hub swapped on. Check the threads here, the vintage-vans forum, and other Mopar forums (Moparts, sweptline, alllpar) for more. 64-66 will be single master, 67-70 will be dual master. The access hole is on the floor in front of the seat, next to the doghouse. There are other details that changed, but you want to check this before pulling it on the trailer! Wow, first the Lancer wagon shot, now an A-100. Hope you get a good project. Here's the latest on my 66, then there is the 68, 69 and other projects...
