I traded the roadster for a 5 window. I’m really stoked to have a car with a roof and I look forward to making this car my own and look forward to seeing what direction my old roadster goes.

The swap was made last night at 11pm and this morning I started making it my own. I pulled some covered shocks off my shelves and since each of us kept our headlights I made a bar-mount for the BLC’s that was a little Sam and a little Me. Many more subtle changes to come and hopefully a set of fenders to finish things off.

If anyone has ditched their fenders and are close to Northern California message me please. 720812C6-EC8A-4BBC-BE59-9DD2924C316F.jpeg 1632FADE-F96B-4143-ADD3-45DE1116CE5F.jpeg 8FFFF27C-9B3F-4326-8CF1-718FF88C1285.jpeg

From Kansas to California, thank you for the new car Sam.

  4. So, from a 1933, trading down for an older model, a 1932. Didn't anybody ever tell you that you are suppose to trade up, when trading. Hey, wait the Kansas guy got to trade up into a newer car. Also going from # 71 to # 17 is also a downward trend. :D

Congrats on the trade. Will be watching for your new upgrades on the coupe.
You do some awesome work, when building hot rods!

For what’s it’s worth, I think the new ride looks better than the old one. Enjoy

  9. As evidenced by my avatar I love 33-34s but in this case I think you did really good. I also love 5 window coupes!

Damn…. I just sold three pairs not too long ago. I had a hard time selling them and sold them for cheap.! P.S. I also live in Northern Cal, Suisun City.

It would be difficult to decide between the two... probably have to flip a coin. They both would be killer to have in the garage. So, the roadster is coming to Kansas?

A friend of the guy I got the 5w from reached out to me on Facebook and sent me this picture of my car being jalopy raced in 1955-6 in Kansas by a guy named Darryl Petefish. I guess he passed away a couple years ago. He raced the 32 for two seasons and took the body off the chassis and put a model A coupe body on the chassis.

I’m super stoked to get some history on the car and if anyone has more info or pictures that’d be greatly appreciated!

That's cool to have that old picture. Does the coupe show the scars on the inside of the cowl from those holes?

That thing is cool! And awesome picture of it being raced back in the day. Should maybe get that printed and hung up beside the car in the garage?

Not much of an update except I did get a set of fenders!!! Thank you Neal Jennings for having leftover from your coupe build.

Still fiddling a bit before I jump into this one full tilt.

That spiraled out of control quickly!!! Started mocking the fenders, had second thoughts about the rear end, was changing the front end anyway…….FUCK IT!!!

    stay tuned. 203DB3C0-B272-438B-8E8C-BD4BE352C0EC.jpeg 6D770635-869A-44A6-A2D1-A9AF0E5424CC.jpeg 57846E1F-24A7-49FE-9AA3-92B075A10779.jpeg

Yes to fenders! I like where this appears to be heading.
