Greetings from Maryland. An old guy here finally getting a chance to build something, and it's a '48 De Soto - "Frankie". Well, trying to build it anyway. It's a RUST bucket beyond belief. Maybe I should look at a car first before buying it. And yes, it would be nice to have an old HEMI of some kind sitting in the garage. But, all I have right now is a broken down '54 - 322 Nailhead and a '64 T400. Is this sacrilegious of me? Anyway, it's such a rust bucket I may never get it together...but I love it just the same. OK, I love just about all old iron between '48 & '50, that's why I also drive a musty, dusty, stock '50 Buick 4 Dr fastback with scary brakes, no belts, three on the column and a case of oil in the trunk for short trips! Love this car too!
Welcome....sounds like a lot of work, but worth it. Keep us posted. -Lee Atomic Radio www.atomicpinup.com

Welcome. We're getting a nice little contingent of folks from Maryland here on the HAMB. Good luck with the project. What part of the state do you call home?
