Man that is an awesome color. Looks just like a penny indeed!

 

Paint is melted caramel candy, hardened with unicorn tears.

 

Diggin' the radius corners (all four) on that trunk lid, Mike.

 

Now i need 2 go score some unicorn tears

perfect choice of color...unicorn tears make the difference..

 

An old painter told me the tears have to be collected with a genuine 14th century pewter mug, and the caramel must be melted in an earthenware crucible fired from turkish clay. Is that true, or did ya just mix it up in an old coffee can on the hot plate?


Either way, it's gorgeous.

 

Love that hue! I'm trying to match it. I have a unicorn trapped in my back yard but I'm having trouble making it cry. Did you resort to pain and bondage or did general insults do the job?

Wow, you should paint Terd Ferguson's truck, he loves him some unicorn!

 

Unicorns cry when they see a Dolphin, even if its simply a crude drawing. It helps to let the Unicorn touch it.

 

The color is '66 Ford Emberglow, with squirt of special sauce and a sprinkle of Abe Lincoln's whiskers. As much as I'd like to take credit, all must go to Andrew Q. Didio, proprietor of Suicide Axle World Industries (the "Q" is for "Quality").

Just from seeing the radiuses in the trunk corners, I'm beginning to think there should be more subtle touches like that throughout the body.. Which by the way looks excellent!
