We would like to thank everyone for coming out to Pistons and Paint this past weekend. What a time! The show grew by leaps and bounds this year and we are really happy that our show is thought so much of by all of you. We are already discussing what to do about more space and other topics that have been brought up. Our main goal is make sure that the show keeps the same vibe. I didn't take any pics but I was sent this one. I think its the only time me and Mr. Ford were sober all weekend. Well, I actually don't know if he was or not.:)
Thanks again and we look forward to next year!

Long story, but my wife and daughter headed to OKC this weekend while Miller and I stayed in Austin. Wertheimer kept sending me text messages from Dallas and I just couldn't take it anymore. I decided on Saturday morning to load up Miller and head for Dallas. Miller woke up with the flew.

Sorry man... I heard the show was nothing short of incredible.

    Texas rules.

I just wanted to thank the Chups for letting us trailer bums in on the fun. We tried our best to get'em running ,but it just didn't happen. Couldn't have been a better first show for us.

The show sux. The Yay-Hoos were bored the whole time and couldn't wait to leave because the cars, people, weather etc. was lousy. My advice to those that haven't been to Pistons and Paint is Don't Go! next year.

( see the rest of ya'll there in 2010!)

Now I know why they call you Bubba "Luv". The show was great and all the Chups made us feel so welcome. Great bands all weekend. Dan's Silverleaf made me feel right at home. Wish we could stayed for Nick on Sat night. I am sure it was off the hook. The fairgrounds are perfect for your show and like I said before the quanity and quality of cars and folks at the show was perfect. Reggie, Norm and I had a great cruise up there and back and all three of us got to bring something home to remember the show by. If anyone needs to cut some weeds, call Reggie. Thanks from all the Kontinentals. We will be back next year.

All I can say is "WOW"!
Towards the end of the day, I finally got a chance to sit down and soak it all in.
It was surreal and I was speachless (for once).
As soon as I park the first car I start saying "Thanks for coming". And I try to keep doing that until the last car leaves the gate. But if I didn't get a chance to say it to you, THANK YOU! We are just blown away by the support for the show. I say show, but a better word is a "Happening". The vibe is so important to us. Laid back, comfortable, roomy and extremely pleasent. And we hope we translated that again this year. We want it to feel more like a party or a family reunion..
Missed Ryan! (Thought this was the year!) Was stoked to see more of the folks from Austin finally made it! (I say better late than never!)
And I trully can't thank enough those who have made it a point to be with us year after year! That's why we do this...
If it was your first show or your 8th, we were so glad to have you.
The cars were insane. Too many to chose from at the end of the day. My hats off to each of you for the time and effort you have put into them.

Turning cars away was more of a parking issue than a space issue. I take the blame for that... I suck!

Hope to see you all again next year!
    PHANTOM.......

    P.S. I'm having Buzzard's love child!

    So funny you say that!!
As soon as you pulled out, I asked the officer if he thought you were street legal.
He just laughed and said he was'nt sure about the volume of your motor!! Hahaha!
Then he said how much he dug your ride and we started talking about his rock crawler for the next 15 min. Our cops are the coolest!

The cops were very cool. Hard to find that any more. Then again, no one was getting too stupid out there...

We had a multitude of issues there and back. Oddly, Tracy's 59 didn't skip a beat. It was the car I worried about the most....

Best year yet. We just gotta figure out how to keep these old folks up at night. The after parties have been odd at all the shows we've been to this year.

    Economy?

    Hola to the Chupacabras!!
    )And those who they attract(

Missed the show this year. The people the rides and the weather all looked
great! Can't wait for 2010. Thanks to all who showed love by burning more than
a tank to make it! Hope to bring the 1955 wooden home built next time. Can
a "Chupe" water ski behind a '56 johnson outboard? We'll see.

    Thanks from Watauga.

When you figure that out Ron, let us know. I'm sorry I sent you and Tracy to our parking lot and then stayed at the bar Friday! We didn't even make it out of the parking lot (or room for that matter) at all Saturday night. :(
