I spent all day last Saturday helping my nephew unload a semi trailer full of speed parts. He bought out a speedshop/warehouse on the west coast when the owner p***ed away. He picked up close to $400K in brand new parts for an extremely low price. He flew out and packed up a semi and brought it back. I felt like a kid in a candy store. We worked for about 8 hours, got it half unloaded and filled an empty 40x60 buildiing. He has spent all week building shelves and stacking so he could unload the rest. In just the stuff we unloaded I counted over 130 new carburators, 180 new intakes, more headers than I could count. Over 200 Hurst shifters, literally hundreds of valve covers. He has tons of hard core race parts as well as the everyday dress up stuff. Over 200 Engle cams alone. There are a lot of real vintage pieces too. I found a new tunnel ram for a ford boss 429 hemi, as well as a new tripower for a 426 hemi, both with early 70s dates on the boxes. Carrillo, Brooks, Eagle, Crower, Enderle, rods, cranks, pistons, injection, blowers, you name it he got it. My shirt was wet with drule. I am going back out to help finish unloading tommorrow and will get some pictures.
Sounds like he ended up buying the inventory out of Evergreen Speed Shop in Everett,Washington. Am I correct ?
Hambers always come first right? i have a feeling that the rest of the hamb board are going to like this FNG.....for once.
