Dropped an A axle for a freind a few weeks ago and he was having trouble figuring out what do with his steering arms as the drag link didnt fit, ive seen alot of guys run 32 spindles for this set up but had trouble finding any info about stock spindles and arms, i did find one small but of info that said to twist the balls 180 degrees, so i had him bring his whole front end over and thats what we did, it worked out really nice.

heres a few pics for others that may run into this problem.

I'd like to know where you found A spindles with BALLS in good enough shape to use? All of my balls are egg shaped and/or flat spotted.

Fire at will. :) (am actually curious though)

That's how a Ford front end should look. Looks great

  6. i like that trick
i might actually use that one myself
i usually just use the 33 axle with 32 perches and spindles
    no drop
but thats pretty cool and all ford parts

Kevin, his balls must have just been less used!

But really, they were in really nice shape, and he actually had a second set of steering arms that were really nice too.

Friction, caused by lack of proper lubrication, causes egg shaped balls. Scented or unscented available.

Its nice to see there's actually a good outcome of having ones "balls in a twist"! haha but seriously that looks great!

  14. Some times friction is your friend! Like the time in college my buddies girlfriend spent the summer landscaping. I am paraphraseing here but he said...." I never knew callouses could feel so good!!!!!!!!!"
