    he didn't drive there......he drove back. :eek::D
for some reason when i get out he lays on the driver side, he keeps the seat warm.

    thanks.
the car is quick. it is a lot of fun to drive especially in the 3-5k rpm range. the motor responds instantly. really fun "light to light".
the car feels really solid and with the windows up it is quiet. the seat is as comfortable as the recliner in my living room. makes for driving this hot rod even better . the transmission shifts smoothly. the clutch is a tiny bit hard, do to a slightly off linkage ratio to clear headers, but not uncomfortable. steering is smooth and the car tracks good. the bias plies will "catch" a groove in the road every now and then. i can keep up with traffic on the highway with ease, despite the 4.56 rear gears.
on a very hot day the temp goes above 210 in traffic but cools back off at speed. yesterday it ran 180, [70 air temp] even in traffic. some engine heat comes through the firewall, but the cowl vent, wing windows, and roll down rear window cool it right off.

So,... That's where you were! Glad to see you kick it back a notch when you can. Best summer ever in New England for cruising due to the lack of rainfall.

The color of your car goes great with the scenery. Now if you just had a different color car for spring, maybe summer, and maybe one for winter. Tim

You know, it started out I wanted one set for my coupester. I rounded up 3 over a period of about a year, needed one more. Then I bought a full set of 4 off ebay for roughly the price of one. Should be happy, right? So now I still need one more, so I can have two sets. Goddam things are like Pringles...

    Ted,great photo's.

I enjoy seeing historic covered bridges,as a young man there were several withing 50 miles,Prathers Bridge was the last standing but regrettably vandals thought it would be fun to burn it down in 1978. HRP

yes! it was just an hour, that was all the "hooky" i could get away with.

sorry i missed you, thanks for dropping that off.

the section of rt.7 has been recently paved, the curves follow the river, perfect for quick bursts between corners.

    thanks

thanks, never thought of a different car for different season, could be the next trend.

he has been driving in cars since a pup, he knows the difference between a stick and an automatic, and listens for the change so he knows when to brace himself.

    thanks!

thanks for doing that, i wish i knew how. it looks much better.

i am still waiting for my friend to give me the cap with no center. so i can make one good one using the "ball peen" special i have as a backup.

    thanks, cool looking bridge!
there are a couple covered bridges under an hour from here. the cornwall bridge is really long. maybe i will cruise up there next week.
