  4. Check out Fastenal's Ferndale WA store and have it shipped there and then go down and pick it up.

    I made this crate last week to ship a section of a car that I chopped. When the load is palletized they will insure it, if it is not palletized they will not insure. This package went GA to the MI UP for $165.00

    Then I had this 800 pound straight 8 shipped to me in GA from MN for $275.

    I've also shipped with greyhound. Got a couple 41 ford pick up doors from RI to Atlanta and I think it cost me $50. What I learned there is that Greyhound sometimes lists a drop off location that is for another local bus line that is under contract to Greyhound. That shipper was going to take the package to an actual greyhound depot at some point in the trip. What is important to note is that shipper had different rules than greyhound did. They would only accept a max package weight of 50 pounds where Greyhound would have taken a heavier package. I forget the Greyhound weight limitation.
