OK, hope I don't get in trouble for this one. I check out estate sales around here a lot, and once in a great while a HAMB-friendly car shows up. Since this time there are four, I'll p*** along the info (and I have NO stake in this): The '29 roadster is a tired older restoration with a later A engine; the '40 Chevy looks basically stock except for the dumb wheels; the '37 Ford is an unrestored Standard with a V8-60 (would it have a factory tube front axle?); and the '46 panel is an amateur-hour street rod with an SBC/auto. The seller hasn't listed any prices. Is it OK to post a link here? I'd just like to help some HAMBers find something to play with.
Ah yes, The old tiger paw tires and spoke hubcaps from back in the 80s and 90s are lookin pretty cl***ic these days...man the time is just flyin by, just like it has for everyone before me. Ive heard about it, now Im startin to see it
...oops - the sale starts today. Here's the link: http://www.estatesales.net/estate-sales/IL/Crystal-Lake/60014/805401 ETA: Just checked and the cars are selling by silent auction ending Sunday at noon. Funny the website doesn't mention that. Low budget, if you think the wheels and tires are cl***ic, you should see the interior:
