On the Thursday evening at the start of the Vintiques NW nationals in Yakima Wa the local Sea Galley in Union Gap Wa hosts a cruise night out in the back parking lot for car folks. Well attended by locals an folks who have come to town on Thursday. It's a bit of a wheel in, take a look around, visit and go for a lot of folks as I probably missed a lot of cars that were at the start as I showed up about 2-1/2 hours later. Here are some of the intresting HAMB friendly or maybe in a case or two 90% Hamb friendly if you don't look real close ride.
A little bit of everything. I'm thinking that the second car the 32 Coupe Runs a 302 GMC and is a car that I used to see at the Unfinished Nationals back over 20 years ago.
Patrick was there with his well traveled "Cab". That car has created some real stories over the past 40 something years.
The Deuce pheaton was for sale locally for several months with a bad description and photos that didn't help either. The price kept coming down to the can't turn it down level but I couldn't put the money to snag it. Older what is probably a Wescott body that is showing it's age around the corners but as I was already registered for Deuce days that would have been a nice ride to take up there. Then you have to know if an AD Chevy truck fits the criteria I'm going to take a photo of it.
Least we forget the Very well known to Hambers former AMBR contender that drew a crowd most of the night and for the last photo I'll use the first shot I took when I got there and who doesn't like a nice 58 Mopar fin car? The show runs today and tomorrow (Saturday the 6th ) Sunday is a pancake breakfast for participants and awards and bail out of there around noon.
Ahh the Vintiques Nationals, there’s a show that I haven’t been to in 14 years. Looks like I might have to attend next year.
Great photos Mr48, thanks for posting them! My son and I hit the fairgrounds this morning. That little T is fantastic
The T was built to compete for the AMBR trophy and was entered about 11 years ago. You really have to study it to see the details that they put in it. There is a thread on it here on the Hamb from about that time.
Headed out the door right now to go up to Vintiques nats to walk around and look and take more photos.
It's actually a Hambers ride @doubletubtrouble ...I found a number of Threads with pics of it but no build Thread by the owner... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-takeout-t-is-off-to-the-rodders-journal.576170/
Your first picture, of the red, full fender-ed 1932 Ford 5 window coupe is probably the best looking 5 window that I have ever seen a picture of.
Yes I recall it well in lots of photos I dig in how all of this build is just right on and one part leads to another like a map of exhilaration from front to back . Just in the one bay photo you got it shows a most proper engine mount pedestal to the detailed mount on engine and dig those chrome headers actually flow with the angle of the exhaust port and a white and chrome flattie that matches the tires wheels and interior ! It's a Crown Jewel thanks man I am going to drreeeeaammm tonite !! lol
