I told the guy with the airplane engine that he should put it in the original Bugatti body, he didn't find it amusing. The price on the body was $45,000 so I didn't bother to ask about the engine.
thanks for posting, i forgot my camera. the plane was pretty cool but the story of the bugatti body was interesting. the guy said they went to restore the car 30 years ago and decided to just build a new aluminum body so he put the body in storage and pulled it out this year for the first time.
Thanks for taking and posting the pics. Looks like eBay hasn't killed the swap-just yet, but it has jacked the prices up so not many are buying cos there's no bargains?
I didn't bother to ask about the "Bugatti" body, had the pleasure of working on a lot of real ones years ago. The left hand steering box hole was the first tip that there would be quite a story on that pile. Bob
