The 3rd pic looks like an old kustom .The hood is welded on and the doors are cut down.Do you have anymore pics of that car?

No I don't have anymore did not have alot of time today. But I am going to go back. The rear of the car was all welded solid from the back up to the back of the seats. It was interesting and very rough. I bought the grille out of the Plymouth on its side for 20 bux. The Caddy has the other front fender laying on the ground. They are solid around the headlights so I ask about them(they would look good in some customs) he said 20 bux each.

If you go back, could you get some better pics of that 3rd car? I would like to see more.Do you know what kind of car that was?

  6. Hey Ron, if you go back for those Caddy fenders, would you mind checking to see if it has the two-tone paint dividers/roof chrome(where the roof meets the quarter panel)? They're kinda hard to find and I need a pair [IMG] Looks like a 2 dr in the pic...is it?

Mike where you been lookin? I think Turner's still has some old shit. You still look around Romo's if they know you and don't forget Globe in Easton off old 41. I've heard if you go down there and start talking bad about the county he'll love you for life [IMG] Hey where are the pics of your car?

Muttley----- Globe and turners, yes--- but I have heard that Turner's won't let you browse.

But Romo's, now man, that is the place. He's very reasonable on prices, and has what might be over 1000 classic cars in there. But, Romo's is going to probablt shut down and scrap out somewhere between a year and three years from now......... That's what he said. Something about a lease running out and the city won't let him re-zone or something. I don't know what all he was talking about, but they are going to be run out of there. Two other places to check------ There is supposed to be a place right in Lemoor (sp?) that you can't miss.

There is also a place up in the mountains near Yosemite (Maricopa I think) that is called Pierson's. He also is selling out cheap, I understand. But I heard it's whole entire cars more than parts.

BTW, that is not the same Pierson's as the one Lucy Pearson operates in Pearsonville north of Mojave (which is also full of old cars from what I hear--- the relatives that operate in Mojave and Lancaster take all the classics up to Pearsonville)

Yeah, I want to go and look around. All the places around here suck unless your looking for parts for a '85 Skylark.

I heard from Ronnie Romo that old man Pierson died awhile back. He went off the road and crashed. Ronnie heard from someone that everything was off limits because his duaghter didn't want to mess with it. Romo's already has crushed three batches of cars. Mostly from 70's but did crush some 50's shells. I drive by there everyday in am and pm, so anytime I see anything good stacked up I try to swing by before it gets crushed. I have been out at Turner's but it's been about 10 years. Muttley sorry to hear about pics, I was hoping to get famous [IMG]

I was up there last year, my wifes folks live near there, we went & took a few pictures, the old man was all "Here are the rules.....

Don't open any doors, hoods or trunks.
Don't take anything off any car.
    Take pictures.
Watch out for poison oak & snakes [IMG]
If you see something you want, come back & tell me, I know where everything is & we will talk"

There was a guy there asking about this [IMG] and all the old boy would say was, "What you gonna do with it?" By that time, we needed to leave.

Gonna ask father in law to drop by when he's next over that way to see if the yards still there/open. Its been owned by the one guy for almost 50 years, and is only open Sat & Sundays.

Some more stuff we found that day....
