Ok Denise, here are three more for you. Hope you dig em'.

The next two are basically the same. One with a filter in front of the lens and the next all natural.

Buick59 you do good work. Those are great photos. Denise will have to build on another room to have enough walls to put all of the photos of her car on pretty soon.

I dig the CP filter on the middle one, it adds a purple hue to the sky that almost matches the car.

    GREAT photography!
I spent a few minutes just admiring the differences between the filter and non filter one's..

As for Denise's Olds..It look's sooo much different than years ago in the black primer and 5 spokes..It really came a long way and look's so damn cl***y!!
    Great car and photo's.
    thanks for sharing.

That has got to be the most beautiful Olds Convert ever! The love you put into that one really shows. Thank you for some cool shots too.

Thanks bud! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of them on the CD.

Big Olds paint job still looks AWESOME in person, even after 5 years.
That dude not only knows how to lay down some paint BUT knows how to do bodywork so the paint stays looking GREAT.

Took awhile but I finally got him where I wanted. I never thought I'd have a cruiser as nice as my '47 Chevy ragtop but Big Olds surp***ed that when I got the Fat Lucky interior. I couldn't be happier.

I remember when it was a regular in Rodder's Digest with Steve. I never realized it would become so famous. A reader called it a tank and Gerry Burger had a lot of fun with that comment. Turned out great and seems quite reliable too.

I'd say...Over 100K miles!! I could only hope to cover that amount of road in one ride! :)
Denise, you have a LOT to be proud of. Although i never saw your Chevy, i have Big Olds, and can say it really is a VERY clean, well executed ride!
The whole "less is more" thing rings so true with that car!

I remember seeing Big Olds in Primer about six years ago at Bonneville. haven't seen it since until this August in Bonneville.

Well nock me in the nuts am I to understand that car was painted at Earl Schieb?

  20. By a guy who go's by the screen name Earl Schieb, the car was not painted at a chain store.

    '59 -

Just sent a note to Denise saying how cool I thought her new avitar was. It's really a grabber. She directed me here to tell you "in person" just how impressed I was with the photo.

Excellent work, fully deserving of all the kudos. Today's digital cameras make things lots easier for all of us, but talent is still the main factor in getting such remarkable images.

    Great job!

I've been gettign TONS of PM's all week regarding the new advatar. As you know from THIS thread Buick59 is the AWESOME photographer behind the lens. While I LOVE getting all the PM's from you guys please let Mike know that you love the photo, his mad skills, blah, blah, blah. He's the one that the kudos should be directed to.

  25. Buick 59, Denise directed me to this thread after I PM'd her complimenting her fantastic, dynamic avatar photo. Of your four tremendous photos of BO I've now seen, the one she selected for her avatar is my favorite. Nice work! Wow!
