And i had to admit I didn't know. All I could tell him was it was some kinda truck. Geez, ain't I helpful. I even tried to read the grille badge but my eyes failed me. So anyone wanna tell me what it is, so I can say. "Dang I should have known that."
Thats kinda what I was thinking..the use to be a car part, not the Buick part. I'm not good at old old stuff, I'm a 50s-60s custom guy.
Yep! probably President Model FA Sedan...........from the B Post foward. " The icecream truck in his neighborhood plays Helter-Skelter "
Studeybaker for sure, thats a wagon wheel type emblem. http://thehamiltonchaptersdc.ca/AutoShow27Limo.jpg
Studebaker with the real neat curved radiator! The fins are an inch or more forward in the center than on the shell sides.
Maybe the rest of the Studebaker is still on the place. Tell your freind to do a little poking around. Or ask where the current owner found the truck. That's a neat grillshell!! Jeff
That's strange, I was wondering the same thing. I drive by that thing everyday. Ha Ha. I'm gonna go genk that plate off that junk for sure.
