The way they are jointed and built, I'll bet you could brake them if you wanted to.

It looks like you could just push it and have the stands tip forward. Might land a little hard but I be it would make it.

The body looks really nice! Do you have a profile pic?

That looks like a damn cool project but the "risk managment" issue makes my sphincter twitch.

The stands don't scare me, they look better than a lot of the budget jackstands a lot of guys use. I just wanna see his jack (or forklift maybe?) Car looks great - let's see some more detail.

Yeah and we are all IT experts in here! If you have lurked long enough you have figured out most of us have ditched the phonics books and skipped Evelyn Woods reading dynamics course. Start typing there two fingers.

Post more pics! That look very nice. Oh and dirty up the shop a little will ya? Made my wife mad when she saw this.

C'mon guys. If you want this guy to post more then focus on the car. There's a reason folks are skiddish and lurk for so damn long. Sure they might set themselves up for it but I'm willing to look past it to see more of this car... Get your mom to do your intro if you have to but POST MORE PIX OF THE CAR! Your're killing us.

All new metal and wood.chopped 3'' channeled width of frame.
Engine is a Desoto I have had for a while, waiting to build another Model A to put it in.TCI frame,9" rear 3:50 posi w/ladder bars, old dropped axle, early Ford brakes,Buick drums.
split wish bones.32 grille shell.Staying with the Old Traditional Look.
Got tired of crawling on the floor, welding,Thats when I built the stands.Try to have more pics soon.
    Thanks again,
