    But if she is lowering the truck and moving the engine up then the rear-end pinion angle should actually be pretty good.

    Suggest you install the stock starter and solenoid as part of your mock up. Nailheads have the starter on the driver's side and the solenoid on top. Your biggest headache may be the solenoid interfering with the steering column, especially if you raise the engine. Tom Ts ministarters allow you to "clock" the solenoid some for clearance, but they are not cheap. You could buy your headers for the price of the ministarter.

    I bought some Sanderson headers and haven't done anything with the starter issue. I have some new ideas (I'm SO much older and wiser now :rolleyes::p) so I'll have to see how they pan out. Thanks for the advice!
